North Carolina native, Ellenor Eubanks Shepherd, mother of three sons, has strong interests in writing, knitting, and music. She serves in a variety of ministries such as homebound communion, children’s sermons and liturgical dance at First Lutheran Church in Greensboro, NC. She also has served the wider church in education and spirituality. In addition to numerous civic activities, she is adjunct chaplain with the Moses Cone Health System. She has won regional and national competitions in ballroom dancing and is a former businesswoman.
Ellenor began writing for parties and for therapy, and only entered the writing arena seriously in 2001 when she could not find a book on the topic which she was asked to teach.
She has been inspired by her desire to serve, her children, grandchildren and her passions.
